I only recently discovered Abstract Void with their excellent release Wishdream. I was so impressed I find myself working backward through the discography. This is lush, beautiful atmospheric blackgaze seamlessly melded with 80's inspired retrowave/synthwave Another spectacular album!! Jody B.

A truly stellar death/doom album with heavy doses of black metal. Tracks like Isolation, Child of Light, and Broken Hymns deliver the sorrowful and icy tone of this album, elevated by the stirring cello compositions of Raphael Weinroth-Browne. The album delivers a deeply satisfying crescendo in Becoming Intangible before stirring the soul once again with Epilogue. Matt Richardson

When it comes to the "atmosphere" in "atmospheric black metal", this release probably succeeds the most in making me feel like i exist within this universe of music. domfabio
